Keep Your Shepherd Occupied – Mentally and Physically

If you only want a dog/pet for your family, and don’t have the time or the desire to take your dog running or on long walks or biking or even to get involved in agility (obstacle course) activities, then this may not be the dog for you.
German shepherds were bred as working dogs and need to work/play at activities to keep their bodies and mind active and challenged.
You could even try your hand at agility training. It’s great fun, and extremely good for your dog!
And, you do have to train your dog! If not, you will be at constant battle with him, one way or another. A trained dog is a friend and companion for life.
